The Casting Process - How to become a Casting Director

Interested in working as a professional Casting Director? Or perhaps overseeing your own photoshoot, editorial lookbook or runway show?
This six-week course will teach you how to oversee an industry quality casting, and show you how to find your perfect muse. Learn the ins and outs of the casting process, from initial production meetings through to agency casting calls, negotiations and final show day production.

Over the six weeks you will learn:
- Understanding the casting environment
- When are Casting Directors used?
- The types of productions
- The different types of casting calls
- How to set up a brief
- Crafting the deal
- Fittings, styling and rehersal
- Navigating shoot day!
The final day of this short course is spent on SATURDAY, 10th DECEMBER, in our dedicated on-campus photostudio. We will provide a professional photographer and students will have the chance to produce their own industry-level production.
Prior Skills & Preparation
No prior skills necessary! This course is designed for anyone interested in the casting process. This is a great course for aspiring models, and will help you understand how to get jobs and get paid. It is also invaluable insight into the industry for those looking to explore casting roles, show production and more.
